Hey! I feel this blog has been more than neglected, so now I decided to update and let you all know the happenings of my life.
First, The happenings at the Boiler room are crazy. The Boiler room itself decided they wanted to not house residents, but send them to Mission Bible Training Center, many of these are located in different parts of the United States. Prayer should be and will be a main focus (they do 24-7 prayer, a community dinner and other things of sorts) and the Boiler room is willing to help anyone who is honest and willing to be helped. Many things about the addicts break me though, I just want these people to see God and want to turn to him. Away from their hindrances. Its frustrating to see people dying due to the bottle…they know it and they do not seem to care. I love what God is doing at that place though, even in the frustrations.
Second, I Graduated. i do not know if I told you in my last blog. And I moved schools for the summer after school program. We have alot of African Refugee kids in the program and this is hard. Many of the younger kids are bad with English, reading, writing….and I teach academics. Oh wow. Honestly though, I love the kids and is a good learning experience.
Third, I have raised 1,300ish dollars. I feel like I should be constantly doing more but when the day is done…Time flies. I wish I had more time to do what I need…but hopefully I will get the letters out by hopefully Monday or Tuesday.
Fourth, I am getting more vision for Atlanta and I am excited for it. I will miss the boiler room and people here but it will be good to go. So I’m getting excited.
