Paint Rollers and Paper Bags / 11.16.07, 03:16 PM
Yesterday I discovered my affection for paint rollers. I got to open three new rollers, fresh out of the plastic. The look so fluffy and clean and soft and new. I love them. And then I have to stick them in paint and I get sorta sad. When I finish painting and hose them off there is always alittle bit of paint left in them and they look kinda worn down from spinning in circles all day.
I also recently realized how much I really like paper shopping bags. Not the ones from the grocery store, but the ones from nice clothing stores that come complete with handles. I think that this appreciation for bags comes from my mother. We always saved shopping bags and used them until the fateful day when they ripped.
The small things of life…so good.

Some of my favourite little weird things are my daylight light bulbs, large controlled flames, new car upholstery, and the smell of small paperback book pages.
