so, I’ve officially been selected to do my mission in New Orleans!!! i can’t even describe how excited i am to see G-d’s work in my heart as i work over there! It seems so close all of a sudden, and I’m learning so much already doing the recommended research.
while I’m here, i thought it would be an appropriate time to describe myself a little better.
I’m jacob. or jake, i guess, being as I’ve lived by both. I’m twenty years old, and i love the Lord. He has given me a heart that longs for service and to love on other people, and that’s really why i want to be a part of mission year. i love music, writing, drawing- well, i guess really the arts in general.
so, really, that’s just a taste for now. i hope that someone will read this (though to expect such may be folly) and that you will get to know me better through my random musings. i ask for your support and hope that you will continue to pray for me as i try to live a kingdom life here on earth for G-d.

Heyy Jake. My name’s Zack. And yepp. I love God as well. He’s just done so many awesome things in my life, and what’s even more amazing is I DON’T DESERVE IT! He’s already given me the greatest gift in Christ that I may have eternity, and He’s blessed me with all these other things too. :) ANYWAY… I’m doing Mission Year in New Orlenes next year as well. So figured I would say hi. Perhaps we’ll be in the same house. Well hope we can get to know eachother better. God Bless :)
