Cookie dough bites / 10.27.09, 09:07 PM

Soo Shannon at Right Moves, always makes sure to feed us, she is SO sweet! But, I have eaten like 4 boxes of cookie dough bites in the last week. hahaa, Ima get so fat!

In fact, there is an empty box in front of me now.

I want to share with you all about today! I’m only halfway through my day today, it’s about 3:00, and I am finished with the work Shannon gave me for now so I thought I would blog.

Today I went to Crisis, as usual, and I hung up all the clothes, and I had some extra time, so I put them in color order (Well, some of them.) I hate when stuff isn’t in any particular order, so I just HAD to do it. That made me happy. THEN, I went into the lounge area and got a cup of coffee, and I don’t even really like coffee, but whatevs. So I went to the fridge, and guess what I found!!! Chocolate syrup, AND caramel. Yes, you better believe I poured tooooons of that into my coffee and it sure tasted alot better. That was absolutely wonderful, it tasted just like a starbucks drink. mmmmmm mmmm mmmmm!

My whole team is turning into junk food addicts.. it’s bad. The other night we stayed the night at the Starr’s house in the ATL, and we resorted to putting frosting on our crackers. We have a problem. Especially me, because after I ate that I poured chocolate syrup into my mouth. I don’t even know why. And I had cinnamon sugar/sprinkles toast. Pray for me.

Oh! Let me briefly tell you about our weekend adventure to Atlanta! We went for comissioning service, and met all the teams from Georgia. It was alot of fun and we stayed the night at one of the team’s homes and watched the movie “Crash,” everyone should consider watching it, it’s a great movie. They were all really great and I was so glad to meet them! Then we explored downtown and that was fun! Then we watched the proposal, and stayed the night at the starr’s.. where we ate frosting covered cracker’s. Then Sunday we went to Becky’s old church, it was really cute and small and I liked it! Then we drove four hours back to our home!!

We went to the Matthews campus of our church, it was suuuuuper cool and Pastor Furtick spoke about joy. It was an amazing message! “My joy is not determined by what happens to me, but by what Christ is doing in me and through me!” SOooo great!

Okay, back to today! After Crisis, I was waiting for the 13 Bus, eating my peanut butter sandwich when a lady came and sat next to me. She was telling me that she is homeless. She lost her job, and they took away her home and now her family treats her not so nice. So we were chatting for a bit, and I really felt like God wanted me to pray for her, but I was like No, that would be weird! sooo a few more minutes passed, and I decided whatevs I need to do it, so I prayed with her!! :)) Her name was Stephanie, and praying with her has been the highlight of my day! Then we rode the bus together, and when we got off I told her to “ I hope you have a good day!”, and she said “You too!”, then hugged me and said “I love you” I wasn’t expecting that! It made me happy, and just so glad that I decided to obey what God told me to do. (Sorry.. i’m not trying to brag that I am so wonderful and always obey God) It’s just I was sooooooo excited to be able to see how it made her day, and how great it is when we do obey God!

She asked me to continue to pray for her, and I would just like to ask everyone else to also. Just that God would provide her with a job and a place to stay!

I love you all! I think you’ll be getting my newsletter soon!

Adios mis amigassssssss! <3
